I thought that changing half a side from the end of the minor round, to the first final, would have hurt Westies. And it didn't. Who can say what influence a 3 week break might have?
When West have beaten Norwood once, and gone as close as you can go to beating them a 2nd time, this year, it hasn't been the tall forwards who've dominated at all. Obviously Brad Fisher & will have to be watched tightly at one end and Luke Jericho at the other, but I reckon the game will be won and lost based on who wins the contested footy, and who spreads better on the huge expanses of footy park.
Even though Norwood have won a few low-scoring slogs in mud later in the minor round, I reckon their ideal game-plan is based on precise passing, and running to create space so the recipient can run on to the bouncing footy even if they don't take it on the chest. So I woulda thought they would probably prefer fine weather.
