Hear hear. The last three visits I've had to Woodville when we've lost have been marred by some cocky f*cktard having a go at our group as we've been leaving, totally unprovoked.

They are the masters of being silent when their team is behind and being absolute carnts of the highest order when the victory is gained.

Frontrunners of the highest order.

No wonder so many of them are also Crows fans.

I can't believe what I am reading these days coming from Port supporters. Where have all the old Port supporters gone? The old school ones wouldn't sook about opposition supporters! They'd give it back tenfold!! HTFUFFS!!

It's passion and does tend to go over the top with those sort of games because of the history of this comp. Your Port Flowers could do with plenty now all the bandwagon riders have taken up knitting during winter, yourself excluded!

still find it amusing that a club, PAM, that since I started attending SANFL games in the mid 70's, have so consistantly enjoyed a privileged ride on the umpires back, have since the start of this decade been most vociferous about the withdrawal of what they consider to be their god-given right. Suck it up you whingers, other clubs have been reamed so often by your mates in white over the years, now its your turn.

So we're meant to be high as kites when we're behind and mute when we've won a game with the last kick of the match to stay in the hunt for finals footy?

I'll give them one piece of advice, when its a 50/50 decision let the game flow instead of blowing your f..k'n whistle, the games not all about you wankers so stop bringing attention to yourselves for the wrong reasons.
When a player ducks his head into a tackle its a simple " holding the ball " not a free kick.

try have it happen to you in a prelim final....

Last years prelim that you lost by 12 goals ????

no...96 when port were given an armchair ride into the grand final and im not just talking about the winning goal free kick

im talking about the bullshit 32 to 12 all day crap (including 5 goals from frees) that cost norwood a spot in the GF

shit form in a prelim final

The sheer hypocrisy of the average Port fan is quite breath taking.

Having been on the receiving end of unprovoked foul mouthed arrogant rants from Port "fans" over the years you will have to forgive my lack of sympathy.

Take a good hard look in your own backyard.

Was a pretty average game for two teams playing to keep the season alive. Neither side would do much damage in the finals if they dished that up.

The umpiring was simply deplorable all day. For those not there. Centre wing outer, Eagles player dishes ball out, obvious throw. Umpire at centre half forward calls throw, play goes on a bit,4 or 5 seconds. The umpires converge where the throw was to discuss it and ball it up.

Port were in front most of the day but play between the 50m arcs was in the main controlled by the Eagles, they just were not as efficient as port going forward for 3 and a bit quarters.

Couple of questionable free kicks resulting in goals to both teams, perhaps the Eagles just getting the better of that.

Slatterys late goal in the right forward pocket southern end with the breeze blowing the wrong way to help him was a ripper to put Port back in front after throwing away a 15 point lead with less than 6 minutes to go. Pretty disappointing way to finish our shot at finals.

Jarred and Powell good for the eagles late in the game when cool heads were needed, Cicca good in the last quarter too.

Anyone naive enough to believe any club any where has been given preferential treatment by the men in white for sustained periods of time needs to watch more of the game.

Anyone naive enough not to believe that the Maggies were shepparded through countless games by the men in white needs to listen a little more to the overwhelming evidence of the supporters of the other 9(8) clubs.

Continue to espouse your point of view Booney and I will continue to argue mine. ;)

You can provide more than anecdotal evidence of systematic questionable decisions enabling Magpie success I assume? :D
