There is already the R O Shearman medal as voted by the members of the 200 club (i.e. ex players who have played 200 games) and guess what, James Allan has won the last five. You can query umpires as much as you like but I think the majority of supporters respect the opinion of players who have played 200 league games. They generally know what they are talking about.

They did stuff up by giving one to Archard, Allan should have won that year too, if he hasn't broken his arm he would have won a Liston too.

I have a feeling that if North show some improvement and play finals this year, he will stay for another season. :)
