Thanks Dutchy, Mickey.
Before play yesterday I had a wish that I could get to a TAB and put $10 on Port, in season 2012
Port beating Centrals at Alberton suddenly seemed to make perfect sense. One of those "unexpected is norm" years IMO.

Think the TAB was "only" paying $3... Still over where I thought we should have been.

Be interesting to see what odds we are Friday night

Might be time to bring Claughton in then.

Or other option is play Hardy as the 2nd ruckmen and then bring in Westoff or Hynes to play as a forward.

Hannath cant carry the rucks all year by himself.

You blokes are playing Norwood at Coopers right?
Couldn't see Port bringing home the chocolates from that assignment.
You wouldn't think it anyway.
Then again...

As they were against the Dogs, Port are due against Norwood .. They are in some top form too, so if they did get up on Friday night I wouldn't be surprised.

Please make this guy coach, would love this scenario to happen.

Hynes who kicked 4 against you last year!

We need to find a way to play 2 ruckmen in our side.

I dont think Port has gotten close to beating the Redlegs at Norwood Oval for quite some years. thinking more about it -I think it was a Tredrea bag that won the Magpies the last tussle there, would have been 4 or 5 years ago,was when he returned after a lengthy absence from AFL duties due to injury. Before then, cant remember last time won at Norwood Oval.

This upcoming game will probably be more competitive but I'd still expect Norwood to win.

-L.Barmby
-T.Dunne

Barmby is one of the most important imho, we need his pace and run, once fit i wouldnt mind seeing him spend some time in the midfield!

Didn't recall that margin when I wrote that. It just seemed Norwood has had the edge in recent years, and even when Port were in reasonable form and Norwood struggling, the Redlegs would still manage to get the win at home.
