Are you serious?

On another note, spoke to a Norwood supporter tonight who said they are a 10 goal better side than anyone else. Already have the premiership wrapped up according to him and no he was not joking. Same guy I saw at the Alma after the 2010 Grand Final. Pretty much has the same arrogance as Bassett at the moment.

LOL Are Norwood fans getting a little ahead of themselves?

Terrible comment. Williams provides great run and toughness. His kicking has been poor in the past but Saturday wasn't too bad. He even hit some nice targets on the left. The indecision and poor disposal you mention were the times he had nobody to kick to or the one bloke he had wasn't clear. He often put the ball in a position the forward could mark, or the ball would come to ground, giving the defender no chance to mark the ball. You can't kick to a free player if there is no free player!

Agreed. Whilse Williams can use the ball poorly at times, he is one of the hardest blokes at the footy in that Dogs side and makes up for this deficiency with his endeavour and commitment to winning the hard ball.

Think back to ANZAC Day when he had a great game, winning the Bob Quinn Medal. His skills have certainly improved from when he was first with the club, but he still has room for improvenemt, for sure.

I don't think he is a concern, as you put it udgogs1, there are other players in that League side I'd be more concerned about than Williams.

Wouldn't have thought so. He'll get another crack in the League side soon, especially if he keeps kicking goals in the Reserves.

Still has a role to play, has kicked 9 goals in 2 games in the ressies despite not playing brillantly which probably shows his a class above that level. I think most agree that Westoff is not your number 1 key forward but is best suited to playing as a second or third tall forward. He will be the player that will benefit the most in the comp once Alan Obst/Pumpa come back into the side and Hardy can play as a more permanant forward. If Henderson is back at the Crows this week i would expect Westoff to come back into the side.

On Williams, his just fine, his disposal hasnt been great lately but his work rate, defensive efforts, hard ball wins are all valuable. Once the likes of O'Hara, O'Sullivan and Chris Gowans come back into the side expect Williams to spend more time in the forward lines where i think his best suited and is very dangerous.

Reckon they will stick with him for another week, especially against the Dogs. But yes he would definately be close to his last chance.

Always thought he was the best and most damaging of the 3 brothers, at least looked interested and had a bit of grunt about him.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

That must have been a pretty awesome 30 seconds you seen him play!!!!!!

I have never seen a bloke duck his head while marking on the lead as much as that bloke.

One night game against North he dropped two marks inside 50 dropping his head because he thought there was an opponent about to spoil, on 1 of those occasions there was no opponent within 20 meters!!!!! IIRC that was the game we loss by a couple of points, Leigh was dropped for the next week and barely played another league game again.

yeah fair point.

imagine their games of kick to kick in the backyard, they would have needed to play on half a dozen acres to fit them all in, thats the closest they would have ever been to an 'opponent' anyway.

Nah only jokes love the Westoff family!!!!
