Our poor disposal finally cost us the game, will need to sharpen that up a lot. A smaller ground exposes this badly.

Also reckon a few are looking at a run in the reserves soon, with some quality to come back.

Enjoyed the afternoon anyway, caught up with some good mates and had a few laughs. Steak sandwich was okay, had no real flavour to speak of but it was freshly cooked when I ordered, via the most complex bbq system in the country!

when we start playing finals on small playgrounds, I will be worried. Small grounds just dont suit us. Recent history backs this up.

Thought the umps weren't too bad today but that's a comparison to previous weeks that have been woeful, sorry, pathetic. Seriously, I thought the Dogs should've been pinged holding the ball at least 3 times in the last 1/4, in the whole run of the game the Boyd free was very soft and the resulting 25 was absurd. To explain, Sturt player standing the mark is watching Boyd, umpire is at least 10m away, it's not like the decision has just been made and the Sturt player has remonstrated, theres time in between, all I could see is that the Sturt player has moved his feet about half a foot and never have I seen that his attention has been at the ump. it's a HUGE call at this point of the game and a wrong one. People often say that Sturt don't get frees as we're not first to the ball, yet we win by 31 and at 3/4 time I think we were 9-15 frees against and the last 1/4 frees, as mentioned before was a joke. Anyway, happy to beat the Dogs against the tide. :D

Ryan Williams has to have the worst kick in the SANFL couldn't hit a team mate 20m in the clear

Agree on the steak sanger too, blantanly tried to rip off West Adelaide system yet it doesn't work :?

Where did Sammy Miles play today? He was named on the wing and I notice 5 inside 50's to his credit

Hard to tell with SMiles, he's being used everywhere at the moment, from a small defender to a bit of on ball, thought he went ok today, also thought Boyd was a huge danger to us but was shut out a bit in the last half. Good to see T-Mac hit it up with a good game again, started off slowly. Great effort without Duldig.

What was wrong with having the West v Eagles game on the box?

Central wasn't the loser :D

Except Glenelg Oval.

Which stands to reason, since Glenelg plays there.

He was off target a few times today (no orphan there for Central) but he is certainly not the worst in the league. The one you talk about was immediately after he was 'slung tackled' so could have been a bit dazed?

That was a fantastic & legal tackle..and yes, Ryan's kicking is almost as funny as O'Brien's

Sturt were great today well done on your 2 points.
Central skills were terrible 2 games in a row.
Umpires were a disgrace as usual.
Roy Lairds decision to drop Westhoff but then play Sibenaler at full forward was quite baffling. as well as leaving Haydon on McIntyre all day.

Best umpiring I've seen all year TBH...and yet you guys won the free kick count somehow, by being second to the ball :?

His kicking is terrible. The reason he lost his AFL contract.

One of the reasons, but not the only one.

Interesting, thought he was good against the Bays.

Grahaml will be shattered, Kirkby playing state footy and Westy playing ressies

Funny, was very quiet at the earl.

Yeah, no doubt, although I'm sure Westy would rather his 2008 Premiership Medallion over a State jumper ;)
