I am not sure its as easy as that. If that was done and i was the opposition coach, i would play another defender back in front of him, and leave 5 v 4 across half forward and then 2 v 1 inside F50. He isnt going well enough to win a 2 v 1.

Nope, I watched the whole game and he was barely sighted. He had 8 kicks and 8 handbells, no goals

He was sighted 16 times with the ball not including his 1%!!

To his defence he wasnt getting much of it inside F50, and the delivery to him didnt help. He was pushed into the midfield in the second half and actually went ok, had 5 second half clearances, and started to get his hand on the ball.
I know peoples patience are wearing thin, but he is obviously a quality player when up and running, he just needs to get up and running.

I found his work rate to be a lot higher this week than previously. A lot of unrewarded running, and he worked hard to provide an option. I'm no coach but one thing I did notice was he seemed out of position around packs a lot.
I'm gonna break my rusty cage and run

I know its not as easyas it sounds but a bit of variety up there would be nice to see, Wilson up there with a small along side him, 3 across half fwd & 1 loose man from defence as a sweeper linking up in the midfield.
Looks a very congested forward line too often for my liking.
Then again i know sweet FA.

I think it has a fair bit to do with the speed that the ball has been moved inside F50. If its slow, then you end up with 6 forwards 6 defenders and a few on ballers inside that F50 and its very congested.
