Not sure if you have seen Tom Collier from Central. He has been a rock in defence for the Doggies...

Don't forget, players can be added and dropped from that squad in the coming weeks, should their form warrant it...

Shirley your not serious !?
Would have though Matt Suckling might have snuck into that side but personally I have little interest in it. Good honour for the players but waste of time otherwise.

As per a previous post, I think Ferguson is Lucky to be included - I had willets ahead of him along with Hartlett
What about your club - who do you think was lucky or unlucky?

Joe Anderson - Sturt (unlucky)

Quality running defender and 2nd year interstate player so I'm guessing he is eligible

He was impressive in a losing side against us.

How Harts and Caire have not been picked have me buggered as well. Harts will have to be a late inclusion IMO

Must admit I haven't seen all the teams so just having a bit of a stab in the dark as picking a side from the initial side picked.

FF: McIntyre, Ainger, Alleway
HF: Sheedy, Kirkby, Sansbury
C: Ryswyk, Zorzi, Liddle
HB: Georgiou, Ferguson, Cross
FB: Rudolph, Grieger, Thomas
R: Meiklejohn, Allan, Allen
I: Beech, Clayton, Donohue, Boyd

Parry would normally be a walk up but hasn't played much footy. Would come into this side in place of Beech if he plays between now and the State game.

A much more consistent performer for the Eagles would have have been Raymond but I don't think he would have actually made the team.

Someone mentioned the surprise of Alleway being picked. I don't watch many North games but when I do he always seems to play a great game.

Totally agree on Shirley, selectors have shown themselves to be on crack with this one

I agree Beard has been outstanding this year (except for his game on the weekend when he had a stinker)
He should have been in the initial squad.

The State under 20's Squad has been released, with a fair amount of lads having played League Football...

The will play the State Under 18's in the curtain raiser game to the SANFL v WAFL state game on May 26th...

Sam Gray from Port named in State Team and the U/20 Team. You would think this makes his chances of playing in the Big game minimal, or has there been a lack of communication.
