Nothing to say about yesterday's game then I'm guessing? :D

Why change the direction most game review threads go nowadays? ;)

'Legs looked far too quick for us, far too quick and I must add, what the hell happened to have Warren leave South? Was it a ploy by him to walk to another SANFL club ( did Norwood pay a transfer fee? ) or was he simply having a year down South in the regionals like we heard? He was a focal point for you all day and made us pay whenever he got the ball within sight of the goals and seems a more than adequate replacement for Shelton.

4,800 yesterday was still double what turned up to any of the other three games this round!

The "blockbuster" Friday night footy game sounded like a great spectacle but only drew 2,500; Probably should have been 500-1,000 more at that game.
The Eagles unveiled their premiership flag vs the undefeated Glenelg before what, 2,400 people? Poor!
Central v South was a similar crowd figure and to be honest, that was probably a very good result given the tyranny of distance between the two clubs (50km+ journey from Noarlunga to Elizabeth) and Central's patchy form.

Just goes to show why Anzac Day should schedule Port v Norwood every year and the Grand Final replay should be the first game of the season.

Gone are those days to minor round games and it has very little to do with the $14 price tag.

Best part of 5000 to any minor round game is great for the comp and the atmosphere at the ground.

Yes was a fantastic crowd.
Still wonder how many stayed home to watch the Cows, might have got a few more but I would think the Maggies would be happy with that crowd, i know the bar was ticking over nicely

4800 yesty   looked like 6,000.
Norwood definately the team to beat, very very good team.
I thought Port were quick but Norwood
Great users of the ball, runners on all lines & some good focal points up fwd that mark the ball!

No Paley's means I have to lower my standard mate, HSD is fine on those occasions but then I was forced into my first West End in ages .. I've only just now, been able to talk about the traumatic event.

Outer wing bar had ice cold HSD's all day.
Might be good sponsors but great to go to the footy and not have to drink that swill they serve at home games ;)
Always good banter over there aswell, definately a differant breed and that goes for both sets of supporters

Sorry to drag this out WCP but he's surprised me with how lively he's looked. His game went a long way towards us winning the match on Saturday, it's nice to have a forward who knows to lead into space. It's been a while.

Any Norwood supporter knowingly and willing NOT drinking Coopers should be dragged into the middle of the oval and publicly bullwhipped !
How could anyone drink West End ? I bought one at the Unley Common two years ago and had to throw it away. Still getting over that experience even today.
