Not sure if there is 31 (I think there might be that many across the 'senior squad' - which can be up to 50 players - but not necessarily all League players) but I'll name what I can off the top of my head that aren't in the League side at the moment for injury or otherwise.

i do know that our website mentioned 31.
On top of the list of 18, you can certainly add Dutschke who is just coming back from a broken leg and is quite underdone.
The other 12 may possibly be Reserves squad players.

Would you like us to hold the season up whilst we wait for them all to get better? ;)

Yes, please, and give us back Callinan from the Crows! ;)

Seriously though, we need to ensure we are in striking distance of the top three by July.... then we can make our run (barring us having any more black cats cross our path between now and then!! :D )

Callinan, unless injured would be unlikely to play for Centrals again this year, Henderson the same although Symes looks out of Sandersons picture at this point.

Is James Gowans in the US at the moment? If so, what's he up to and for how long?

Think you will find the lack of fitness coach is having alot more impact than the head physio. Oh Nathan Casserly come back!!!!!

Vlad is the physio at Centrals and is supposedly one of the best physios in Aus including clients who come from all around oz to see him.

No, he has been back since the Norwood game, he was in the stands watching the loss to the Redlegs...

He was over there for his honeymoon and wouldn't have played anyway due to a niggling injury...

When you look at the results from the U16s & U18s the last couple seasons there is some concern as to the future down at the Ponderosa.
The club used to have very strong Junior sides, yet current form over the last couple of years sees them continually on the end of some big losses.

Looking at the list posted by bp a couple of posts ago, most of those injuries aren't fitness related. Not a lot can be done re knee recons, recovering broken legs, feet, shoulder and hip surgerys, etc. Hynes has battled injury his whole career. Lawton and hay probably had pre-existing problems. It leaves a few standard hammy or soft tissue injurys. Reichart, Jenner and hynes the only players with a league history to have "soft tissue" injury. The rest are really bad luck.

Yeah my point is more that a physio only deals with guys once they have had injuries or are coming back from exsisiting injuries.

It must be run by whoever runs SA buses, for some it's 12 years late.

So a team who wins 9 flags in 12 years deserves to start losing?

Central actually went up one spot on the ladder this round, if they keep doing that they'll be top again in 6 games. 8)

My mistake, I got the two positions mixed up...but either way this Vlad bloke would be under the pump right now.

Im still not understanding how the physio could have stopped Pumpa from getting bruising on his knee, or stopped Hayesy from dislocating his shoulder. If these players take extremly long to come back or have re-occuring injuries then blame the physio but how could he have stopped these players from being injured.
