No suprise Matty Westoffs report didnt make it to the tribunal..........................they probably saw his name and striking and thought his never been close enough to an opposition player to strike them.

Sorry Bad Joke Time!!!!!

Yes, he did, for striking Central's Corey Reichert...

I'd suspect the Match Review Panel would sit today and he may face the tribunal tonight?

Usually tribunal news and outcomes are advised on a Tuesday so stay tuned tomorrow...

Kernas was 9 votes ahead of Antrobus.

Averaged 2 votes per game over the season...

Incredible getting 44 votes

So do North take this on? I don't think they have anything to lose but carryover points so it might just be worth it for them.

I have been privy to some info around the report which is interesting. Funny how the umpire who reported him saw the action by Allan but missed the previous 4 minutes of provocation from the first bounce by his tagger which apparently was a lot more "intense" than the normal tagging action he is subjected to? I can only assume the umpire was worried if he was watching the two of them so how did he miss the actions of his tagger that caused Allan to lash out? Perhaps if the umpire jumpred on that and paid a free for his "scragging" etc then Allan may not have had to do what he did?

Is that really relevant? Provocation is not a defence.

I watched Killa and Allan quite closely early on, funnily enough not when the incident happened, and I thought Killa was being very, very annoying but from what I witnessed nothing outside the rules. Not to say nothing illegal happend, however.

I was very worried about Allans potential influence and watched with interest who went to him and in what manner. Kulikowski was very good in the first half on him.

How early/late in the season did Kernahan get reported?
Not sure if they do it on purpose or just subconciously but it seems to me the umps tend to not award votes or give reduced votes to players reported for remainder of season.
Ive often wondered if umps when doing the votes think that way and instead of giving someone 3 votes they give them 1 or 2 knowing they cant win it

Provocation used to be a defence. Both Ken Eustice and Malcolm Hall in the 1960s were found not guilty under extreme provocation.

I say take the one match ban. Be interesting to see how Jimmy is judged by the umpires the rest of the year.

Wouldn't be surprised to see North challenge the suspension though. The umpires didn't get much right on Saturday. Goals were points. Points were goals. Not too many free kicks were the correct decision either.

Kernahan was reported on the Anzac Day weekend, so it was about round 4.
