Sorry, it is just that you stated that Central supporters have been gloating about how great our side is etc etc, yet there is not a single comment on this thread that reads anywhere along those lines. If anything, we admit that we are not that strong this week yet.
Sorry about my comment but stupid comments re Centrelink, cars being stolen etc. got to me. This is mainly because my car door was kicked in after a match at Norwood Oval a couple of years ago.
Cheers

In fairness to Central fans who have been gloating, our side HAS been pretty great over the last 12 years just quietly.

Somewhat overrated, mediocre at best.

There is a good possibility the Dogs could have up to half a dozen, or even more, blokes play their first game this week in the Dogs season debut for SANFL season 2012.

Tom Collier
Jackson O'Brien
Matthew Claughton
Paul Marschall
Josh Vater
Matthew Prior
Sam Colquhoun
Dylan Orval

Some like Collier and O'Brien would be certain starters, I would think, but all are an opportunity, in my opinion, to play in the main game against Norwood on Saturday night.

I see on AdelaideNow that the Power have named Renouf for Norwood this week. I thought that might be up to Norwood, but what do I know. Will be handy for them, especially since Central are likely to be without their first ruck. If it pans out that way, it could be very interesting - it's always a novelty to see a gameplan based on roving to the losing ruck contest.

Yes, the "Chris Lindsay" (I think that was his name), Grand Final was a great example. Without Hardy as well, will test whoever rucks for us.

Paul Lindsay was the former Eagle big man...

I've heard that Renouf is playing for Norwood but is starting off with a run in the reserves...

I expect Jack Hannath and Matthew Claughton (to debut if selected) to be the Dogs big men...

If Norwood win this match, I wonder if they'll sing their club song with the same gusto as when they last won at Elizabeth in that trial match...

Why would we celebrate a win against you? Now if it were the Eagles we were playing it might be a different story, always good to beat the powerhouses.

Give it up. Please.
This match is for points, they've rarely won at the Bef and they should be fugging happy if they do get up.

Having said that, go you Doggies!

Not sure. :D

You can dish it out but can take it back just as well. People like whufc and apostle have got glass jaws though.

You should put money on it, any win against the Doggies is a good win, don't kid yourselves either, any Centrals team that leaves Luke Barnby in the Magoos is a good team, we are hunting a win particularly at the Ponderosa, and we have named a couple that are very lucky to get a gig this week and should be in the Magoos.

Cheers,
