Great result !!!! ;)

South 18pts behind at 3/4 time..came home with a solid last quarter.

Crate,Gotch,Carey,McNamara , Veide and Pfeiffer did not play. Bollenhagen and Wundke played in the twos.

Some good signs today for Sturt , it's good to see Seamus may have the same ideas as a lot of Sturt suporters last year with a few positional moves. But it wasn't difficult to work out . We are a bit thin in defence and I wonder how long Maloney will persevere with Duldig .

Many players to come in yet so it was promising .

Was there a major change in the playing 18 after half time as it seems like West kicked 10 to 4, then Sturt kicked 12 to 2, almost like each team fielded reserves in opposite halves?

Not too concerned with the score. Franco started Allan and Bennett in the middle and both were very rusty. It was their 1st hit out for the year. This affected North's effort in the 1st quarter. Bennett certainly picked up as the game went on. That's why it is called a trial game, knock the cobb-webs out.

nor had I.
1st half I think we were out marked all over the ground, poor entry into F50 and very loose defence. 2nd half we attacked the ball pretty hard and dominated the midfield nullifying any movement forward for West.
