To be fair he probably should have retired 3 years ago. At his peak he was a fantastic player but his last couple of years have been completely mediocre.

That's coz Godds has been playing him up forward. He was at his best when he played on the wing from c. 2004 to c. 2009. Coincidentally, Eags won the premiership in that time.

He was really good for about two seasons, but besides that, has only been a burst player. Would play a good game every month but has never been in the top echelon of McKenzie, Powell, Jarrad, Cica, Grocke etc IMO. Has suffered with injuries and looks slower now than he ever has.

I think he's probably heavier now than he ever was as well.

We want him to keep playing then! We won 5 Premierships during that period! ;)

Could well be a few new names to come at norwood next year. Interesting to read that Ed Lower was delisted from the Kangaroos and could possible return to SA, Roland Ah Chee from gold coast could also possibly return to Norwood and finally Mitch Hahn could play for norwood as well

Hopefully Mitch Hahn turns out like Eagleton.

Trouble is Mitch has a shorter fuse and would probably knock him out and get suspended for a month

Mitch Hahn struggled to make Williamstown by the end of the year. He was named on an extended bench for the VFL Grand Final. I don't know whether he made the final side. He looks finished even at the second level but I could be proven wrong.

I just don't see what Hahn would get from playing SANFL. Eagleton you could understand coming home, but Hahn? If he's good enough to add to Norwood then someone in the VFL will make a similar offer to him to stay there with his family.

He would get big $$$ :? If he wants to continue playing league footy, one would suggest sitting on the bench at his current club isn't too promising for next season.

Hahn mentioned on SEN four weeks ago, when he announced his retirement, that he has an offer to move in to player welfare at an AFL level. Couple that with he can get more $$$ playing association and country footy in Victoria than what he could at an SANFL level, I don't think he will be coming to the SANFL.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!
