To be fair he probably should have retired 3 years ago. At his peak he was a fantastic player but his last couple of years have been completely mediocre.

That's coz Godds has been playing him up forward. He was at his best when he played on the wing from c. 2004 to c. 2009. Coincidentally, Eags won the premiership in that time.

Mitch Hahn struggled to make Williamstown by the end of the year. He was named on an extended bench for the VFL Grand Final. I don't know whether he made the final side. He looks finished even at the second level but I could be proven wrong.

I just don't see what Hahn would get from playing SANFL. Eagleton you could understand coming home, but Hahn? If he's good enough to add to Norwood then someone in the VFL will make a similar offer to him to stay there with his family.

I just don't see what Hahn would get from playing SANFL. Eagleton you could understand coming home, but Hahn? If he's good enough to add to Norwood then someone in the VFL will make a similar offer to him to stay there with his family.

He would get big $$$ If he wants to continue playing league footy, one would suggest sitting on the bench at his current club isn't too promising for next season.

Hahn mentioned on SEN four weeks ago, when he announced his retirement, that he has an offer to move in to player welfare at an AFL level. Couple that with he can get more $$$ playing association and country footy in Victoria than what he could at an SANFL level, I don't think he will be coming to the SANFL.
