Fifteen year old Hourigan set for League debut
Strathalbyn FC junior and 2010 GSFL junior colts medallist Darcy Hourigan is set to make his senior debut this weekend and in turn become the youngest ever player to represent the South Adelaide FC at league level. Hourigan will eclipse 2010 debutants Todd McKay’s record by 5 months when he makes his debut at 15 years and 11 months this Saturday against Norwood.
A long kicking 188cm/90kg left foot defender Hourigan joined the Panthers U15 Country development squad program in 2010 where he was named SAFC country player of the carnival. This year he progressed into the SAFC U16 team of which he captained the side before being elevated to the U18 team in round 7. With U16 State duties beckoning Darcy then played a vital defensive role in the victorious SANFL U16 state team before returning to the SAFC U18’s in round 17.
Since being promoted to the Reserves team in round 18 Hourigan has now strung together a number of consistent performances across half back which have earned him a League opportunity.
The South Adelaide Football Club congratulates Darcy and wishes him all the best on his League debut.

Funny, pay that as well.![]()
We use the Neon Lights to direct fans to the Coopers Bars, by-passing the toilets and the waterboy![]()
Cheers,

That's somewhat mean spirited 'Gl', but you wouldn't be the only one to miss seeing Jesse
in form and not carrying an injury. If he regains the form he showed in Rnd 2 we'll be smiling.
