Surely you're fishing.

Port Adelaide continue to have the highest Membership and respectable crowds (even when sitting near the bottom of the ladder), while your mob wont even venture beyond West Terrace.

Membership doesn't necessarily equate to attendance. But yes, you're right crowd numbers are respectable. Not sure if you have "respectable crowds" ;)

Interestingly here are some figures on average home match attendances from 2006-2009.

2006 1st CD (4,115), 2nd Glenelg (3,455), 3rd Norwood (3,412), 4th Port (3,325), 5th North (3,193)
2007 1st CD (3,830), 2nd Norwood (3,531), 3rd Sturt (3,263), 4th Glenelg (3,091) 5th Port (3,042)
2008 1st Glenelg (5,158) 2nd Norwood (3,871), 3rd CD (3,698), 4th Port (3,423), 5th Sturt (3,334)
2009 1st Glenelg (4,024), 2nd Sturt (3,616), 3rd Norwood (3,579), 4th CD (3,121), 5th Port (2,991)

Back to the thread at hand...

It will be interesting to see who makes way from the Legs side for B.Zorzi (who will play after being a late withdrawal against South) particularly if T.Walker isn't called up by Adelaide.

It's a good selection dilemma for Norwood to have no doubt.

I think you will find he'll be playing for the Crows, as will Walker. The Walker inclusion is interesting as they've obviously not taken form nor fitness into consideration. Walker's about as fit as I am at the moment.

Agreed AH. Walker wont get a kick on sunday, he was shocking last week, had stuff all movement and his chasing was laughable.

You've summaries Walker's performance well. Thewlis towelled him up, and then he had a few cheap kicks in the mid-field once the game was shot.

Would have thought Knights would be a certain return for the Crows this week, so it's interesting .. Wouldn't surprise me if Walker ended up having a week off from all forms of footy.

I don't think they (AFL clubs) do these days?

In recent years there have been many blokes picked in a AFL side based on average or poor SANFL form the previous week.

I guess time will tell how well Walker goes in the Showdown, but who knows, he could kick a bag?

That would then make the situation an interesting one in regards to Walker's SANFL finals qualification should he not play another SANFL game after that.

Would have thought that if he doesn't play any match, due to injury, that it doesn't count as a SANFL game?

Only going on what i saw. At one stage right infront of us he dropped a mark and the ball went to ground, he went to pick the ball up and it bounced at right angles, he tried to turn but couldnt put any weight on his knee so he stopped. He then proceeded to walk after his opponent who had the ball. He then struggled to get to the bench and appeared to be favouring one leg. Lacked a fair bit of match fitness IMO, was towelled up by his opponent
