I found him to be worse today than at the night game earlier in the year. With the temporary speakers not in use today, looks like South decided to turn the volume of the old system up full pelt, which made him somewhat unbearable in the stand. Also needs to do some research about opposition players if he's going to rattle off stats and shut up celebrating each South goal over the PA system it was cringeworthy. Music after every South goal (like the night game) is tolerable, the dribble we had to hear today after every South goal was terrible. South should get rid of him because he is an embarrassment to their club.

Agree 100% Brewster except for music after the goal part.

Bring back the days when watching the game was enough, no announcers, no circus, no sideshows.

Memo South Adelaide get rid of the Richard Cranium on the PA and just let us watch and enjoy the game.

They say there is a clown in every circus and the circus at Noarlunga today was completed when "Media" Mike Rann turned up.

I saw footage on the news of him sitting in the grandstand (which was a few seats down from where I was sitting) and interviewed wearing his Panthers scarf. I reckon he was only there for a total of 10 maybe 15 minutes.

The SANFL deserves better than to be used as a photo opportunity. [-X

Dogs never really threatened. Once we managed to keep South from getting any sort of reasonable lead with that good early wind it was another 2 points in the bank and how far we won by. Losing Obst would be a loss, but I'll wait to hear from a medical professional rather than the peanut gallery's medical opinions.

Ground announcer isn't my favourite addition to the SANFL, probably up there with the rooster crowing at North games. Save the announcements, music etc for the breaks I think.

I think a few South fans that were getting ahead of themselves got a fair reality check of how far away they really are. Unable to seriously challenge an injury depleted side on their own deck that is looking at setting themselves to play well in finals already isn't great. But they are making strides at least. Let's just hope for their sake those strides start going backwards when things get a little tougher to keep moving forward as South seem to be so adept at doing.

Obst himself said the knee is gone, as his season.

I have to break my rule here...

If Obst is not a medical professional, does that mean he is a peanut? ;)
