Noticed in the footy budget that Steven Salopek has been assigned Tenace's number 5 guernsey.

No, he's still injured. He will be back though.

Club allocates a couple of guernsey numbers for our AFL listed players , but atm there are just too many of them. :)

Also, on Thurs night when the property stewards would have originally worked out the guernsey number allocation, Sal was going to Brisbane

Yeah but that doesnt explain why Glenelg continously change who wears their number 24 guernsey week to week.

There are 57 guernseys made and allocated on our club website for you to check out if you want. http://www.glenelgfc.com.au/fan-zone/player-profiles

24 was originally Matt Snook's but he has been out injured for most of the year, so Hitchy has worn it quite often.
Only 30 special edition guernseys were ordered, so Sal has probably been allocated Tennace's No 5 guernsey seeing as it fits him, and isn't being used this week.
This seems the most logical explanation

Yep sure has. Apparantly had an agreement where if he couldnt crack their league side they would clear him back to Tanunda.
Had a work accident with an angle grinder that set him back a bit and probably cost him a league spot.

I admire Massies work off field and quite like the different angle a coach takes. But he will want to learn a history lesson pretty quick how I read that.Seems to read that he has his ideas and take the new approach or don't play. We all know the success starved Bay fans will love that to start but turn very quickly if no success follows.
My whispers are that the vocal Snouts at Glenleg may have got their man at Bay. Maybe focus on the conceptual side and not thhe short term loud mouths is the wash up from " the other side" .Interesting times ahead down that way.

Obviously a so called Snout and many ,as we all know ,have no idea.Probably would have been OK but once again no philosphical discussion on the topic so we just disregard your lack of input.

Come on Dedree give something , even your own supporters want more than your pathetic ,shallow, picture posts. Come on Deidree THINK of something intelligent to add to a footy forum, You keep failing to pal , it's probably just a lack of knowledge .

SeriouslymHP, surely you must know by now that unless you have Glenelg as your team you can't possibly know anything about them.

4 flags in 70 years now isn't it? Maybe they'll find a club with a worse winning record to compare themselves to but facts are opposition fans are likely to know more about winning flags than Glenelg fans.

Yeah, a fishing expedition is usually when someone baits someone else into making a stupid comment. Not usually so when the original comment is dumb and gets corrected so.

I eagerly await the day SA footy recognises the fact that most of the time a stupid comment gets calles as such and the "fishing" comeback is exposed as a cheap cover.
