Only really got two other things:

1. MICKAN IS GGGGGGOOONNNEEE!!!
2. Nice handball from Ian Callinan to get that last goal of the 3rd quarter. ;) 8)

* Coaches award went to Alan Obst.
* Runner up best player went to Ian Callinan
* Best player went to Lee Spurr.

Just wait until we get all our injured players back!!!

Yeah but callinan needs 5 to qualify and he keeps getting 30 he wont spend 5 weeks at centrals

Interesting you say that Grahaml.

You expect the man to win a game for the bays?

Was he that bad...?

Was he played out of position just to get a game...?

Where did he play?

Where would you play him?

good question Dogger. I remember him being a huge bloke busting packs running from defence. I don't know how he is suppose to impress power selectors being stuck at full forward with Yves (3 touches all game and still won his position!).

The main thing I noticed was Glenelg don't run!! This happened in the finals last year, and the last 2 doggies games. So when Cornes got the ball there was no back up. I thought he played ok, it was the rest of the team that sucked.

I think the players have to look themselves in the mirror and question their commitment, I wouldn't blame the coach for that kind of performance. It wasn't game plan that killed them today, it was the insipid performance.

True and I wouldn't be surprised if he (Callinan) is called up to the Crows this week. Today was his 2nd SANFL game, if he doesn't get a call up for the Crows, I assume he will play for South's reserves. Then he would only need 2 more SANFL games to qualify and of course if he does, Adelaide have to permit him to play.

It's bad enough being embarrassed on the field but comments like this just compound the issue ... as the great John McEnroe used to say ... You cannot be serious!

Who cares whether Callinan qualifies! That seems to be everyone's focus! Whether or not an AFL listed player can play or not. Forget them, get on with trying to win The Flag without the "ring-ins". We are top ATM, with no Callinan contribution.

The Bays want the Queens Bday game, and they sign off on the schedule at the start of the season. Plenty of time to prepare for it. But if you want to make excuses go for it.

Cant read? I said its not an excuse.

Dogs also request no Sunday games, conceeding to local soccer, very lame excuse

coaches job as i see it is to prepare the players mentally to be ready for any opponent anytime. fitness blokes prepare them physically in conjunction with the coach.

unfortunately mark seems to be chasing his ass trying to do both jobs while juggling a playing line up that doesnt seem to be prepared on both levels.

change is in the wind i'm feeling.
