Do you not see any benefit to giving up to 10 thousand extra people the oppurtunity to view an SANFL game!
I want to know where your getting these numbers from mate? Who says they would watch? I'm sure the ones that were at home on Friday night would of been watching the AFL game tonight. But I am just guessing.
I did the math before on roughly how many people play or are involved in football on Saturdays in SA. Obviously they have an interest in Australian Rules at some level.
Obviously they wouldnt all watch but as i said it would gives these people an 'oppurtunity' to view SANFL football which they cant do on Saturdays.
While the AFL is of a higher standard im sure there would be a huge part of the SA community that would watch the SANFL coverage if nothing more than to see how players from their 'home' clubs, family members, mates, work friends are going.
Even if only a quarter of these was just flicking to see the scores in between the AFL games add breaks wouldnt this still be a good thing, as they are being made aware of the SANFL.
