Weather forecast now is Windy with EVENING showers.

So hopefully the rain will hold off the Eagles v West match .... but might affect South v Central at night.

Like the look of this side. On balance, given there will always have an injury or two, I reckon this is just about as strong as we will get.

Anyone listen to RPH this morning?
I am at a loss as to Daryl (I want to shag CDFC) Smith's comments;

"With Hentschel in the team, the players will look for him & this will aid the Westies backline, so Westies for me"

This bloke truly is a fool.

If he'd bothered to look at the lineup (has he seen an Eagles game this year?), he would know that 'Rowdy' will be the 3rd Forward.
Tiller is coming good, slowly - as he's a kid & learning the caper.
Grocke WILL have a much greater impact this week - 2nd week back from injury & his attack on the pill gives us a real focal point @ CHF
Then Hentschel will be the other tall forward.

What Smith fails to recognize is the quality of our small forwards as well - Goldy & Petrenko (when he's up there).
His comments are too often made without any sort of EVIDENCE.

Time for this dinosaur & others on his station's coverage, to disappear into retirement (if they can find him inside Roy Laird's colon, that is)

Windy. Meaning McKenzie will win the toss. We do our customary slow start and only break even at quarter time, and thus eventually sealing the 5th place after this round*

*Meaning this round only.

Thinking about it, the forecast tomorrow sounds quite similar to the match between the two sides at Richmond in 2000. It was warm (for the time of the year) and very windy.
