It looked to me like North wanted to play a faster game and move the ball quickly with a lot of hurried kicks and handballs, which resulted in a lot of poor turnovers, whilst WWT seemed more content to slow the game down and play a patient game.

Grocke was too strong and too smart for McIntyre who needed to be switched with Miles. I thought Alleway was good early on but seemed pretty well covered in the 2nd half by, was it, McKenzie? I don't know who was supposed to be manning up on Raynor but he looked WWT's best and North were slow to react to the space he was finding.

You kidding?

Even though we lost it was still much better than anything I've witnessed in about 3 years as far as enjoyable footy goes.

Only watched on TV but whilst not teh greatest skilled game there was no shortage of effort on both sides.

Thought Jarrad was terrific for us with his skill and judgment out of defence. Guiffreda did a great job after Tiller went down as Alleway could have really taken us to the cleaners.

my first live roosters game since there gf loss a few years ago. Allan obviously is a good player attracts the ball and generally uses it well. What i dont like about his game is how often he runs fwd of the ball hoping that nth win it, also noticed his defensive skills on manning up arent great but hey if you touch the ball 40 odd times what can you say.

Seen him get plenty of ball in the last line of defence also. Certainly travels a few yards on the footy field.

MacKenzie was on Gill - gave him a 'hiding'
Day was on Alleway - best game for a long time & much better suited in defence.
Raynor was very good.

Even though we lost my day was made driving home listening to the Power implode and lose to the GC. The last 2 days have been even better reading the posts on the Power from Port site where they are spitting the dummy and eating their own!!! Great stuff LOL couldn't happen to a better group of "supporters". When all else seems gone and gloomy we still have the once mighty PAFC to make us feel better!

I want to ask a question here and don't mean to upset any roosters fans :D .But do the prospect council want footy played at prospect oval ? I only ask this as most of the road signs were no parking Saturday and Sunday. And the old sticker licker was having a field day pre the seconds game starting .
I know the charles sturt council has not always like the eagles .But I havent seen any sticker lickers on game day I could be wrong ;)

And no I didnt get a ticket I parked far enough away in a good park . ;)

The best place to park is on the opposite side of Main North Rd, and enter through the Ken Farmer gates. Not wanting to upset Eagles fans, but parkings never a problem when NA play WWT.

Yeah its deceptive now with noone in the old Grand Stand.

I thought it was a very good crowd considering being Easter, live on TV and not a big traditional puller*.

ahh thats the problem then TSG we all park close to the oval(bet those who got tickets wont again ;) ) .those gates are not always open by the way . I've been there when the budget sellers are sitting there and the gates are locked no redcoats in sight .Not the case on Saturday.
