Not in favour. Based on that example, last weekend Alleway would have potentially been sin binned for a report which was later withdrawn.

but it still might have warranted having some time out, to cool down. The coach should do that anyway.

Thats it 90% of the time if the umpire reports someone generally something of an untoward nature has happened. In that case he sits the 5-10 minutes out but then doesnt have to worry about being reported or facing the tribunal and is in no doubt free to play the next week.

I've tried to post the facts about the new system and have invited questions. Why do you just pick out one point that I haven't mentioned out of all that and say I might have said that?

There are many similarities between the both systems.

1 Players get reported

2 Players get suspended, etc, etc, etc.

Ian Callinan didn't pre-meditate breaking Phillips' jaw

At the same game were we big guy?

As a matter of fact staritski, I was sitting on the boundary line for LifeFM and was about 10m away from where the bump was laid on Phillips by Callinan.

Enough said on that though, it is in the past, what has happened happened, Phillips himself said he felt there was nothing wrong with what Callinan did, it was just one of those footy things.

Anyway, this thread is about 2011 Reports and Tribunal hearings, probably best if we all just leave 2010 alone and move on, myself included.
