That's what I've said.

Read the facts about the tribunal. It hasn't changed, except for assessing the penalty. If that makes supporters 'disillusioned', then they're very easily disillusioned.

So RaB are you saying that "carry over" points don't happen like they do under the AFL system?

but it still might have warranted having some time out, to cool down. The coach should do that anyway.

Thats it 90% of the time if the umpire reports someone generally something of an untoward nature has happened. In that case he sits the 5-10 minutes out but then doesnt have to worry about being reported or facing the tribunal and is in no doubt free to play the next week.

Mate, I've never said that at all.

I've tried to post the facts about the new system and have invited questions. Why do you just pick out one point that I haven't mentioned out of all that and say I might have said that?

There are many similarities between the both systems.

1 Players get reported

2 Players get suspended, etc, etc, etc.

The tribunal systems are totally different.

The penalty systems are fairly similar.

I give up, your way is always the best way and you're never wrong, so I'll bow out of trying to understand or have an opinion.

Good luck mate!

Well, my apologies, CP.

You'd previously posted that I'd defend the system 'until the cows come home' so I thought you had picked out the one piece that I hadn't covered to attack the system.

Again, I apologise for misunderstanding you.

As a matter of fact staritski, I was sitting on the boundary line for LifeFM and was about 10m away from where the bump was laid on Phillips by Callinan.

Enough said on that though, it is in the past, what has happened happened, Phillips himself said he felt there was nothing wrong with what Callinan did, it was just one of those footy things.

Anyway, this thread is about 2011 Reports and Tribunal hearings, probably best if we all just leave 2010 alone and move on, myself included.

great bump, unfortunate outcome, ask both involved, they will tell you the same.

Damien Nygaard made a similar comment about 'Elbows' Kerley breaking his jaw.

start a new thread with ONLY the Player, Charge, and outcome that way people can have this long boring thread to argue in and the people who just want to know what players are suspended without going through all this crap can find it easier

So 68.75 points are carried over.
In his next game if he is found guilty for as much as passing wind he'll get another game.
