Not true I don't think. It was young debutant Wingard who I think had big Cranston land on him in the last quarter, just think he was too groggy to come back on in the last term.

No, don't think we do HP but the SANFL have actually made some minor changes to interpertations of a few of the rules at SANFL level (bringing them in line with AFL) which might explain why throughout the some of the threads there have been some comments made about the level of officiating.

See this thread for the changes to the interpertations: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=32271

It really was an amazing game, to see Glenelg pile of 10 goals 7 in the final term after the way they had played earlier. That being said, Sturt just stopped doing the things they were doing in the 1st three quarters but then Glenelg did also lift big time through the middle.

It will be interesting to see how Sturt respond to this result next Friday night against Norwood at Adelaide Oval.

Yet you just said this :

Certainly don't think that a 17 year old debutant not coming back onto the park was not the reason why Sturt gave up and 8 goal lead and allow the opposition to pinch the win with a 10 goal final term.

24 to 2 (Sturt's 2 scoring shots)

What a heartbreaker! I couldn't get RPH to work for some damn reason so couldn't record the call, I had to settle for rushing to the net during breaks in work.
"Oh, yeh. We got this stitched up!" I thought. Then it all inexplicably went sh1t in the fry-pan. I just kept seeing the scores popping up and steadily looking worse. I guessed there must be an explanation. But I come on here and no one else knows what ******* happened either!
Philosophically, it is good to start the season with the most painful loss possible to spur us on to greater glories.
For now it just feels like shit in a fry-pan.
I'm gonna sit back, crack the top off a Pale Ale, and watch the Double Blues prevail

Sturt never kicked a goal after the Mrs said "geez I should come to every game, they always win when I watch"

Her ID is soon to be sent to SANFL headquarters to deny entry, but allowed to pick me up after games. ;)

Stormed out deep into time on in disgust, kicked a cat as it crossed the road, read the $58 welcome to Glenelg flyer the HOldfast Council had so kindly put onto the windscreen wipers because my car was on a yellow line by 3/4 of a metre   and hope for a better result next friday.
