Looked awfully like Brad Fisher that came off on Saturday with an ankle that was very swollen.

Yeah, I wondered that too CK but watching the ABC replay earlier tonight, I did notice that Ben Fisher looked to hurt the ankle (Neil Cross said on air he thought achilles maybe) and I recall the Sunday Mail report listing him as having 'nerve issues' or something along those lines in the injury section?

Based on the fact that Brad Fisher, the former Carlton player, came off and ended up on crutches with a badly swollen ankle like you said, surprising he's not on the list also?

Brad definately out for at least 2-3 weeks. We have many players out with ankle injuries and I wonder whether it is because the wings of the ground are too very soft and spongey. The middle corridor is very hard (where they train the most I guess).

James Boyd was at the game Saturday and had no strapping on whatsoever, probably not as bad as first thought.

When i dislocated my shoulder i was made to wear the brace for 2 weeks afterwards unconditonally.

Also had a funny chat with Ash Fry on Saturday, he was named to play ressies in fridays Advertiser and didnt end up playing Saturday. I asked him if he didnt pull up to well on Saturday morning, he said along the lines of nah mate still another 2 weeks away.

I then refered to the article and said did you reaggrivate it at Friday nights training session, his reply was surprise, he didnt even know he had been named to play and had a chat with Lairdy Wednesday night about his impending return in 2 weeks time.

Lesson number 1, dont always believe what football clubs tell the media!

ps. Nash named by the club on the injured list for 2 weeks only to play that Saturday

Boyd's wasn't a dislocation apparently. Just an AC.
