A fair question. One thing we do know though is that neither of them will do a hammy as a result of being chased out of defence by Daniel Motlop.

Hmm - why would Motlop be chasing them out of defence if he is playing up fwd unless the Hatlett's are now the big West defensive secret they have been named up fwd just to confuse poor first game coach Francou when they are really going to play down back?

Good attempt at humour but no "chocolates" for you!

I think he meant the West defenders not being chased as they run I out of their defence, ie our forward line.

Apparantly Prospect is a bit of a mess due to the renovations so apologies in advance to West fans. Very limited grand stand seats if that's your preference.

According to the nafc website - Cunningham and K. Thompson out with Hammy's so Greg Gallman and Marlon Motlop are in's.

Assuming Marlon will play in the back pocket then there really will be a Motlop who doesn't chase a Hartlett for sure!

No green or nat caruso in the squad. Both playing twos. Some really good signs for the bloods

Yes, they're in the 2's, along with 2 of the interchange players named.

Both the league and reserves squads are the strongest West have named for several years. That, of course, doesn't necessarily translate into wins.

Does that mean we're both mental, or both overweight.

Or both :D

The only coach of recent times who seemed to have an attack-at-all-costs philosophy was Matthew Knights, and that worked out well.

I reckon it will be Anderson and Webb. Both were named in the reserves as well as the league.
