One of each unfortunately mate. Two breaks one a re-break of the recent one and the other a new break but don't tell Booney because he thinks I am making the whole thing up.
I don't know why I would want to do that

Great courage from Cameron to keep his eyes on the ball and a real blow to the young lad as I thought he was playing okay up until that point and it certainly did not look pretty through the binoculars. He was taken to hospital in an ambulance and had to be given some oxygen to help with the pain naturally.
Terrible for his Mum and Dad who had flown out from Tasmania the night before and had to witness that first hand, it certainly was horrific and whilst it will be a long hard slog to come back, we wish Cam all the best in his recovery.

At the time of you starting this thread I know this was unconfirmed. So your initial post was BS as he had not even had X-Rays, what it was however was a very good guess from somebody in the know.
Anywho, bad news as I was looking forward to seeing what he had to offer in the coming weeks.

Here's a quote from Big Phil from when Cam Milne injured himself last year.Big Phil wrote:Was down into our rooms at half time and the club doctor told me straight away he thought the hip was broken, certainly dislocated anyway.

A couple of points here.
and this was friendly fire too!
One, if started cracking jokes about sending text messages to him in hospital about his injury the righteous CDFC fans on here would, quite rightly, go ballistic.
Secondly, if you're so dense that you can't have empathy for a serious injury, head high contact or otherwise, you'd have to question your basic humanity.
One question whufc. Given everything you posted it sounds as if you would have been prepared to tell Milne's parents that it was just a footy injury and they should accept that these kinds of things are going to happen and not to be worried about it. Who knows, given your form you might have even thrown in a few bonus gags about him not doing his best work on the dancefloor for a while.
Would you have?

Dont take it presonally ML, Booney's natural reaction is to guess/make up a positive result for PAFC on most matters these days.

Fair enough that's all he had to say instead of saying that I or someone else was full of ....
Anyway here is confirmation from the Power's website in the last half hour.
http://www.portadelaidefc.com.au/news/n ... fault.aspx
SCANS today have revealed that Port Adelaide recruit Simon Phillips fractured his jaw at training yesterday morning.
Phillips will have a plate inserted in his jaw tomorrow and will not take part in contact training for six weeks. He will, however, resume non contact training within ten days post surgery allowing him to continue his running programs.
The setback comes after Phillips had spent five months away from contact training after recovering from post-season shoulder surgery.
(and Booney before you get on your high horse again this is consistent with the information I received late last night - the scans were then taken to the Power this morning for their medicos to see)

Lets move on now.

It appears as though your information was correct ML, so I do apologise. Not a good look, moderator or not.Interesating though, my information suggests the scans were done today. Unless you know Phillips himself, your information must come from someone very close to him. Even the official media release states the scans were done today.
Royal UK City Fan, no need to follow my posts or police them, thanks anyway. Whoever you may be.
