May I remind you all, that in 140 years only ONE TEAM has ever won the flag from the Elimination Final.
Pfft... I could understand all the spruking if you'd actually done something - you haven't, fact is you beat an ordinary side in ordinary conditions - nothing more![]()
The last time you beat Centrals in a FINAL was 9 seasons ago FFS - they proved (yet again) the MINOR Round means nothing.
The 'big blue bus' appears to have been backed out of the shed again.
We shall see, I will still be here on Monday (regardless of the result) - I wonder how many of you will be???![]()
Toodles
No-one on here has been anything but confident. Nothing wrong with that surely!
Just for you LEH I'll say we're crap and won't amount to anything this year. We're ordinary and may aswell just hand the game to the superior Eagles now rather than face the embarrassment of getting kicked off the park this weekend![]()
Regarding the big blue bus you mention, thank christ we have a big blue bus as I would be embarrassed to constantly be outnumbered at our own hame ground.

1. Boo-Hoo you got slaughtered on your home ground.
2. Should I remind you that 2 teams have achieved that feat, and the Elimination Final has been around a lot less than 140 years (Duh!).
3. See point 1.
4. Wait till big brother gets here!
5. All aboard!![]()
6. See you then.
7. Is that a kid's breakfast cereal?

I have not seen the tape on todays game
perhaps my opinion will change
This game is a dead set 50/50 game, being the elimination final
Anybody who saw the Torrens win at Woodville earlier this year would be able to confirm that Torrens played rubbish...
... and yes that means we were even worse.
But least we've improved.
Interesting if the Eagles play a Forward line next week that can actually play Forward Footy .eagles the last two weeks have lacked forward targets .
With Grocke Welsh perhaps Lane and then maybe Hentschel at CHB will be a totally different team.
Sturt were not that good in front of goals today .11 scoring shots in the first term including hitting the post from the goal square.
But sturt have something that the Eagles lack PACE.Lacked it under Ron and we still lack it under "GODS".
We have found a way to defeat Centrals Eagles need to find some backbone to beat Sturt next week .
1 more thing get the name of the club right or call us the EAGLES .

Centrals know that, that's why we & you managed to beat them in the past couple of weeks - they were in SERIOUS training overload for the Finals campaign.

Can we please stop puting around the myth that Cenrals train harder than other clubs through this time. Does anyone seriously believe that they started this? Does anyone seriously believe that other clubs would not have copied this by now even if they did? Every club with an eye on finals increases the running component in preparation for the major round.

It wouldnt of mattered if u had those guys in your forward line because the ball never got down there untill mid way through the second quarter. still would of been beaten.

The amount of times I have read you asking this or similar questions about Jaensch I think it might be easier if you just made it your signature.
Just taking the piss though. It's nice to have fans of other sides acknowledge great players.
He does make a big difference doesn't he? I have never seen him play, but listening on the radio and through looking at results, it seems he plays a style that is very effective at SANFL level.

No team, yours, mine or the other two in Finals have DONE anything, yet.
The 'big brother' you refer to is the team we ALL have to beat.
Whether you finish 3rd or 8th - means the same.
If you finish 2nd - just means your are the best LOSER.
The REAL season starts this week - Centrals know that, that's why we & you managed to beat them in the past couple of weeks - they were in SERIOUS training overload for the Finals campaign.
If that is what a 'big brother' does - then we could ALL learn from that.![]()
