On another matter...

CSBowes... please explain to me the purpose of your CS move today, please don't say " To move to the goal scoring end or to move to Sturt's forward line"

Who was the fat, bald bloke in the 'spray type jacket' leading the chorus?
He was clearly insighting crowd issues.
As for the bloke who was evicted @ 3/4 time - the photos will prove he was clearly aggressive.

Was that you, trying to calm down the Weslo wallys?

The fat, bald bloke in your CS is a disgrace!!! You can NOT defend him or his actions.
Funny how when the cops arrived, he donned the beanie & became all coy.
Pfft

Errrrr... I'm not with the Cheer Squad... the CS is my profile name are just my initials mate! :-)

The fact that you support sturt and were at the game means you answer for their actions... so what do you have to say for yourself young man?
It's all the SANFL's fault.

Someone is going to get seriously hurt, very soon if this is to continue.
It looked like 'meth' issues to me

P.S. Sorry CSBowes - clearly no issue for you

With your description it could be one of a few. As for the meth issues, I'm not sure anyone in the cheersquad could afford meth ;) Maybe some nodoze mixed with Panadiene Forte
As I said, I've got no idea what happened and I couldn't really give a toss. They have to fend for themselves now and if they're going to repeat stupid behaviour then they deserve whatever they get.
All I know is that once again my wife and I will be well away from them next week except for taking pics of the banner at the start of the game.

I was in the Sthn stand and all I saw was the SCS move up the ground and one or two of them were having a bit of banter with some Eagles fans who were giving as much as they got, no idea what was being said. All the while the SCS kept moving. Weslo came over and talked to two of the SCS, one didn't want to co-operate and was escorted from the ground. I don't condone idiots being idiots at the footy or acting agressively but there really wasn't much in it, about as much in it as there was infront of the Sthn stand between supporters.
Great comprehensive win by Sturt and hopefully we've got rid of our complacency that has plagued us all year......hopefully. Let's face it, winning 8 in a row is going to be a big ask especially under finals pressure.
Question- Is a fortress really a fortress if there aren't any soldiers there to man it.

We would have won the second time but there was somebody pushing the goal posts closer together - probably Treeby by remote control ;)

Of course I did - have you not read the previous posts???

As I said ...

"We were ordinary - worst I've seen (1st half) since '04 GF"

I am simply suggesting that there were a number of CS members that were insighting crowd trouble - 1 in particular, along with the clown who was escorted from the ground.

That fat, bald bloke (mentioned) was in fact hanging over the fence (Ray White sign) attacking players as well as carrying on with the crowd. Interesting, that he donned the beanie as soon as the cops showed up - 'big man' when only Weslo hanging around, 'pussy' when the constabulary turn up.

Again, I am concerned that there will be trouble @ the finals - I would suggest that IF Sturt progress & meet the Doggies or Norwood, some Centrals & Legs supporters won't be so 'passive'... watch this space. 8)

Remember it was apparently ALL Treeby's fault in the previous game

As this thread is a MATCH review I would suggest that attempts are being made to divert attention away from the very poor effort from the Eagles at FORTRESS  Woodville

Well its a documented fact we only have 2000 odd members .And with a Game on tV many stay away .You also need to take in account the weather .While I got there it was fine rain came just about everyone could fit in both stands .
Wasn't that far back that Eagles actually out numbered sturt fans at unley .Couple of years ago that was before you guys actually got good again.
While on fans let me ask you sturt guys a question .Why is it when sitting in the Jarman stand your fans complain about no free seating? And having to pay $3 a ticket. When your club charges the most of any club at $5 a seat .

Yep no attempt here I'm just answering queries

Eagles put in a piss poor effort something along the lines of Fremantle against Hawthorn in Tassie.
Eagles will field a different team Sunday at 12.10 mark my words!!

I dunno, it's fun watching someone with nothing better to do than deflect from the game by talking about the people on the outer. So Jimmy; you barrack for Sturt, why were the CS acting up? And dont use the living in New York thing as an excuse.
It's all the SANFL's fault.

WTF...

You blokes are pathetic... I already stated how bad the performance was by our lot.
It ultimately means nothing - as Norwood won anyway.
We shall see what your response will be when you lose on Sunday

What good will contacting your club do?
Nothing happend the last time - the Sturt CS is a disgrace - period.
If it wasn't, why would a loyal committed supporter like Voice leave???

We agree, they're giving us all the shits. But what are Sturt to do? A few people have had their memberships refused, theres not much else that the SFC can do from stopping them if they're behaving at Unley It's your oval, kick em out.

Just a bit of fun Micky. The crowd wasn't too bad at all the games over the weekend considering the weather. I thought it was pretty funny when your raffle ticket man was mumbling about no Eagles people were there to sell to
