I don't want to appear pushy but I've asked you previously in this thread to present the other side, and yet you have refrained from doing so. In the absence of any contrary information, those of us who know nothing of the incident have to assume the overwhelming support for the North boys to be correct.

Fair enough. But I'm not going to post anything that will end up a legal matter.
So feel free to continue believing the NA boys are angels.

I don't believe the North boys are angels, but we've seen a few accounts from other posters all pointing the blame at the locals, you are indicating otherwise but not prepared to say. To me, this shows you really aren't aware of the facts and either taking a contrary stance because you are sticking up for your mates, or wanting to stick it to North Adelaide for some reason.

I'm actually laughing at the suggestion that just because the locals started beating the crap out of one of the North players that was no reason for others to get involved. Very quaint :)

This incident followed our best on-field performance of the year. Maybe the team should do it more often.

AH I'm not deflecing any blame from the locals.
I'm saying the NA boys didn't NEED to get involved but CHOSE to do so.
But make up what you will.

So if one of your young friends was king hit from behind you would walk away and do nothing?

This is the part I'm not understanding. If I were at a pub and saw one of my mates getting the crap beaten out of then, do you expect I would just sit there and watch the whole thing?

And I'm not making anything up .. I suspect you are though.

I only piped up because some posts make it sound like the NA boys are blameless angels and I know the boys involved in the other side of the story.
Nothing to do with port.

Well just being there in many people's eyes invites a percentage of the blame. Many people have a "just world" viewpoint that implies that if someone is belted then they must have done something to ask for it. It aint always the case.
It's all the SANFL's fault.

Someone who works there told me that 'some regulars were play fighting in the carpark, North's bus rolled up and they go out and just started swinging.'

yeah great advertising for the Stirling Hotel......roll up and watch a bunch of nuffy's have a play fight in the carpark...get out of your car...or bus, and get set upon by a bunch of drunken bums.....ummm, remind me not to go there. Glad those tough guys werent at alberton today or I would have been in trouble. Perhaps the wind blew them away just like the Roosters did to the pathetic poor magpies in the last qtr.

You beat the eighth best team in a nine team competition.

Awesome.
