Want sauce with that??? ;)

Seriously...I ask this question...If Centrals didn't play crap in the 1st half, Sturt didn't kick those goals in a row during the 2nd qtr and Centrals on ball brigade had cleaner hands...what would the result have been???

I think you have run out of straws with all those "ifs".

Sturt too good today but I'm confident Roy knows his best finals combination and if games are dropped, (and top spot sacrificed), getting game time into some of those who know how to get the business done, then so be it.

Lets not forget that some of the Dogs footy this year has been as good as ever, and yes, the same old suspects have been part of that as well.

Surely we wont be allowed the luxury of going into a finals series as underdogs again

Maybe a few more questions will be answered next week?
Players win touches, Teams win matches, Clubs win Premierships.

Mate I'm just getting a word in while I can. I know that it's unlikely that we'll be there GF day. That said, I would feel confident against the Dogs in another QF...But at the moment that is still a tall ask, and it's about beating the Dogs 3x in a season, which is almost unheard of in the last decade. So enjoy it I will! :D

Brett will also miss next week with his injury. He should be fine come finals time though.
The most important thing today from Central's point of view was winning the Ressies. A win next week will see us contest the finals rather than Glenelg. A full squad of League and Ressies training come finals time is always handy.

Cheers

P.S. Well done to Sturt on their win.

P.S. I thought the game was well umpired today by them putting the whistle away and letting the players sort it out.

This is about the fourth year in a row people have questioned Chris' and James' ability at this time of year. I have a feeling they will be great assets in the finals, definitely not a liability.

Great work today by the Blues. Impressed with the performances of most players. McLeay and Fittock good down back, Giles exceptional once again and Herring put his hand up and showed that when he attacks the footy he's the real deal. Enjoyed Vassal, Cubillo and Reilly too.

We certainly seem to have the wood on the dogs this year. Hope we get the chance to play them in the first week of the finals. If not, hope we get the chance to play them in the second week (if we make the finals at all!).

There'll be a few teams a bit worried if we do get in...
