Glenelg played in second gear for the first half and eased up to third during the third quarter and blew North away proving, to anyone who didn't already know, they're the only meaningful threat to Centrals this year. A Carr and Allen vs Gowans X2 battle will be worth the price of admission come finals time.

:D

topsy, don't you rate norwood ? who have at least beaten central this year & ran them to 8 points at elizabeth !!! or sturt ? who'll now make the finals have beaten central both times they've played...the if wwt ever got a settled team on the park could do damage as well.....so i don't think it is as clear as you think mate, i do agree about the midfield battle carr & allen versus the twins in any final they play in
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

Some very kind words there Topsy especially regarding Carr.

Personally any side with a midfield of Terlich, Gallagher, Trotter, Lower, Campbell (once he has regained fitness) and runners such as Puopolo and Phillips are going to have legitimate claims to a GF spot.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Who would ruck for Norwood grand final day?
