Didnt get to the game, was it Silvester who stood him?

Didn't Silvester have that hit in the 80's? Mighty Real, wasn't it?

Seems an ideal draft choice for the Cats.........

So in 2009 Chambers scored from every kick he had against the Bays.............................can't see why people are having a go at him for that ;) What more do you people want?

well played westies, used the conditions better and wanted it way more than sturt...hurts a bit....delivery was tough to chambo, breeze was crazy!!

another hoodoo broken this year...first was the dogs one which was good...then 2 bad ones, port and west winning streaks snapped!!

Well done Westies. They thoroughly deserved their victory after an exasperating 7 years without success against the Double Blues.

Sturt have been woeful since their victory against Central. Playing one good quarter won't win any footy games. Last year we were 3-0 against both West and Port. The current team lacks discipline and concentration.

Back to the drawing board in what promises to be a long Season. :(

i dont see why you sturt supporters are so down at the minute, you are only 1.5 games out of the 5, still quite do able, so your going through a rough patch at the minute that doesnt mean you need to write off the season just yet

2 games this year is all we've had to get excited about. The rest has been pretty much woeful which is why we're thinking the way we are.

We aren't too used to the neighbourhood down here Sarge. Usually we are top or near to it so naturally we got around to thinking that there is where we belonged.
Glad we had a dip at least against West. Unhappy that our winning streak against West has finished, but all due credit to them for earning the victory.
I don't believe that our season is all but over, we have a talented side that isn't performing to their full potential ATM. Makes a change from other years where we pounded sides by massive margins in the first half of the year, and carried a percentage of about 60 for most of the season before coming back down to Earth as finals got nearer. If we just do the opposite to that this year then we may still end up premiers.
Therisingblues is not without hope for 2010.
I'm gonna sit back, crack the top off a Pale Ale, and watch the Double Blues prevail

From R1-
Draw. Bad loss. Great win. Disgraceful loss. Great win. Disgraceful loss. Bye. Poor win. (Didn't see it but) Bad loss. Bad loss. Bye.

So our losses are sitting at 66% or 2/3's of our games are losses. Of those losses the games against (Port), Eagles and Norwood showed a very bad attitude. When we approach our next game, R12, 7 weeks would've passed since we showed anything positive for the season. We are 1.5 games from the 5 only due to the form or lack of it from the teams directly above. The strange thing is, if you look forward to the end of R14 Sturt may only be 1 game outside the 5, and that's only winning one more game.
