I thought it was more a case of Gowans telling him to lay back down and started yelling at the trainers to bring a stretcher out even though Cameron tried to walk off.

I think the exact words were "get a fvcken stretcher out here" but it wouldn't be the first time we've seen a thread involving a Gowans and a complete lack of facts on this site would it ?

Good luck to Cameron on his recovery BTW, a horrific collision.

Looked like Gowans (I think Chris) was the one showing some sense. Telling Cameron to get back down. Where did you hear that from Heater? The trainers should never have tried to move him, in my non medical opinion. There would have been no harm in calling a stretcher out straight away. I think everyone knew it was serious.

From localfootysa.com on Cameron Milne's injury...

http://www.adelaidenow.com.au/sport/afl/monday-morning-centreman-r10/story-e6freckc-1225873226478

Jai Bednall in Monday Morning Centreman wrote:
MILNE'S NASTY FALL

Central ruckman Cameron Milne's fall on Saturday was one of the uglier injuries I've seen in recent years.

For those who didn't see it, he clashed heavily with team-mate Andrew Hayes and as he fell to the ground he dislocated his hip.

It appeared as though the head clash made him momentarily lose his senses so he couldn't brace his body for the fall.

Milne spent Saturday and Sunday night in Ashford Hospital and is being looked after by former Adelaide Crow Dr Matthew Liptak.

Central CEO Kris Grant said early scans suggested there was no serious damage to the joint and Milne could be running again within three months.

``We certainly won't give up (on a return this year),'' Grant said.

``It's unfortunate because we think this kid has a big future.''

As for the trainers who attempted to help Milne to his feet, Grant conceded it ``didn't look good''.

``It was just one of those awkward things,'' he said.

The injury leaves Central undermanned in the ruck department if Jon Griffin keeps his spot in the Crows side.

Former state under-18 player Jack Hannath is next in line but it wouldn't surprise me if Roy Laird lets Jason MacKenzie ruck solo against Norwood this week given he should be able to handle wafer-thin Legs tapman Brady Dawe.

I thought South were very competitive and looked good for 3 quarters bar last 10 minitues of second. Talking about injuries with Centrals we must have 7-10 injuries ourselves as well as not getting any crows back. I dont know how we keep going to sleep for a quarter and a bit and get smashed.
Gave away far too many freekicks in middle giving ascendancy to bulldogs. They dont need the ascendancy. It is so easy to read the script for South every year. A bright start then a couple of close losses then some beltings and to keep losing for the rest of the year. Dont know whats going with Warren hardly kicked a goal in last 3 weeks right out of form. Dont know whats happening with Crate. He was so promising last year and this year no run and gets beaten most of the time. Well done doggies you have got the rest of the league envying you and almost beaten before they start. Good luck to you I wish South could one day be an eigth as successful. Not sure it will ever happen.

Excellent work once again Adolph....partial quotes from the thread about Centrals having to move a trial game because the AFL can't play on anything less than a biliiard table......have to say I was a little surprised to find you on the 'net Sunday night, thought you'd be celebrating your Eurovision victory.......going Sunday, in the lederhosen ?

Here's your entire initial post.

Given Centrals injury record this season you'd wonder if karma is at work here.

Play on though.
