'Moving on' players mid year is not normal. 1,maybe 2, but more than that?

I do hope the irony of a South fan talking about throwing money at misguided recruiting isn't lost on anyone.

like 2009 B&F Mitch Sandery and 2010 B&F Favourire Adam Cockshell? Surley we did not get $10k for JKH - that would be daylight robbery!

Valid point about Doyle one would suggest...

Who was the last player to change clubs mid-season (not AFL listed ala Matt Lobbe) to go and play league footy regularly at their new club ? I think Jak will get an opportunity in the Norwood side sooner rather than later for what it's worth.

Eugene Warrior?

Remember him moving to the bays from Norwood only to have to front up against Norwood at The Parade straight up.

Dont think he played much more after that game though.

Jericho switched to Norwood during his last year on an AFL list, although it wasn't at the request of his AFL club ... The Bloods would have been well pleased with how that worked out.

Not sure if it was mid season but Tom Gilligan was a huge success story moving from North to Port.

Here at Coopers Stadium now, the ressies just got underway...

Not good news for new Redlegs recruit, Jak Kennedy-Hunt...

Wearing number 15 for his new club, at the 3 minute mark of the opening term the former Panther has just been carried off from the field by the trainers clutching his knee.

Didn't see the exact incident but he was grimacing in a bit of pain, hopefully it's not too serious...

Rodan's Number! Hope his knee isn't bad, but could he follow Rodan and have LARS undertaken?
