sturt should be swabbed, ive seen them 3 weeks in a row which were brilliant, very ordinary & brilliant today, obviously it is a mental thing as they were switched on for the glenelg & central games & i'd say 'mentally' took wwt lightly, sturt usual weakness against the bays & central teams in recent times have been in the middle however today they smashed central & even when central threatened in the 3rd term sturt steadied with the last 2 goals of that term & thus had the game won, i thought chambers, sheedy & young macyntire looks a good player

did i see gowans pull out of a marking contest in front of the scoreboard today ? the answer is yes & the fact that as soon as it happened he put his hands on his head & you could see him thinking i made a blue there as for the 'strike' & another kick to the sturt player whose name i can't think of tells me he might be a little frustrated atm

this season is shaping up to be one of the more even seasons in many a year with 6 sides vying for a spot in the 5 & all 6 on their day capable of beating each other
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

Excellent build up to the game with the Anzac boys being driven around the ground
Good crowd
Great weather
A pleasure to watch the dynamic Blues in action
They smasssshed CD last year at Unley, I thought that was the best footy Ive seen in the SANFL in this millenuim
Today was almost as good against an undermanned CD line up
CHAMBO killed the CD defence and showed how good he is when he is not double triple and quadruple teamed against
One out against SANFL defenders he is most times far too good
And he beat Jumbos record today, both champs and favourite players of mine

ST magicinal today
CD with some important midfielders to come back cant be written off

Enjoyed the day out as I invariably do at Bonanzaland and of all the sanfl grounds it rates as one of my favourite grounds

One sMALl complaint
Could not find a BBQ at the ground on the scoreboard side

Danny Schell is needed at full forward
The CD forwards dropped several easy to semi easy marks in the forward 50 in this game

Agree with the comments of a few others on here. An important win for us but the Dogs won't be so worried about this come finals.
Well done Blues! Very happy tonight :D .
I'm gonna sit back, crack the top off a Pale Ale, and watch the Double Blues prevail

Excellent crowd yesterday, a lot more than officially stated. A lot of complimentary tickets given out for the game, and I would like to know how they count season ticket holders and free passes?

Nice win Sturt.

Chambers was outstanding - great delivery to the big fella. And, Jaensch was pretty good too.

We are missing Slade and O'Sullivan in the middle it might seem.

As for Gowans pulling out of a contest, the fact that he put his hands on his head is recognition. I'd rather see personal recognition of the fact than someone who blithely heads off thinking he's done nothing wrong.

And it is Centrals and Central District.

Why? With North's inability to cope with pressure against the better sides and the dogs getting thumped it should ensure the dogs win by 60 plus.

Well good on Unley. Maybe the ANZAC day game should have been there hey MAL? Would have got a better crowd figure if there were 2 BBQs. ;)

Well done to Sturt on the pasting they gave us today. I missed the game due to work commitments but wanted to congratulate Sturt supporters on the win. Seems to be standard that we put in a shocker around this stage each year. Am hoping that this was the one for this season.
Cheers

This'd have to be post of the year so far.

... and it won't be the last post of that class. When it comes to making dumb ass comments, UK Fan is King. He's a complete embarrassment to Bulldogs supporters.

When they win, he's on here waving the proverbial flag...

When they get trounced, its "run for the hills" time...

He and the ANZAC spirit, total oxymoron.

I hate sitting down at the footy...

Sturt way too good on the day, heaps better skills, workrate, intensity and finishing.

A few of the young Dogs got shown up today, so hopefully they will learn from this and turn things around next week.

I can feel a two day hangover coming on.

Topsy your back.Let me guess Norwood had a win this week. Yep my tips were crap, If it wasnt for the legs I would of got zero this week.

Sturt way to good yesterday. Well done to Joffa he destroyed us today. Dogs were just second to the ball all day and completely carved up in the midfield. Big game against North this week. Fingers are crossed that the Crows drop Henderson. In good news for the dogs I spoke with James Boyd who said his injury isnt as bad as first thought. He should only be out for another month.
