That is a seriously weak eagles side. Goes to show how reliant we are on Crows players and Treeby/Mckenzie/Powell.

How the f##k can Hicks be getting a game??????

Given our non-interest in targeting midfield recruits Godden must be relying on a serious improvement from some of our players or else we are going to be in trouble.

Anyone know whether Rob Fiacchi has finally retired? He isn't named

I agree - i feel sorry for Godden he has inherited a pretty ordinary list of players to work with

Into the side for Rd 2 for the Eagles and missing from this trial team are: McKenzie, Banner, Polec, Powell, Jackie, Salter, Rimington, Allmond. Three of those playing in the Bs Triial for different reasons.

Add those 8 players and the list looks OK.

Looks like we'll have to accommodate Crows players Brett Burton and Knights in Rd 4 and Rd 5 as they make their way back from injury. It's not all doom and gloom. But its not a good feeling 5 weeks before the first game with no idea of the Centre Half Back and Full Back positions. ( when Parry comes back and IF IF Redden and Guihaus can hold down the 2 ruck positions, I would like to see Parry playing Centre Half Forward (where he orin.did well at Port), releasing Grocke to take up Centre Half Back - would give the team an imposing look.

South won the reserves by 2 points. 8.8 to 7.12. Ben Warren kicked a goal on the siren to win the game.

Let that be a lesson to you Sturt. You don't beat Glenelg 3 times in a row in Grand Finals and get away with it.

south showed a lot more desperation then what they did in an entire season last year.

$5 to park your car around the ground for a trial - that is a joke

$5 is not rich if you get to sit in your car at least you can smuggle in cheap booze!

why is it going to be a short decade pfw? we will never fold. I would have a look in your own back yard first.
