For Norwood:
No season opener
As Columbo pointed out, Rd 1 is a twilight game and the next 6 games are night games. It isn't until Rd 8 that we play a genuine afternoon game. That also means no ABC TV broadcast for the first 2 months of the season.
Our first home game is vs South on Thursday night of Easter (last yr we played them at Encounter Bay at Easter).
We play 7 night games all up - 5 are at Norwood.
We have byes in rounds 9, 15 and 20, but with Rd 18 being a split round we are a bit "stop start" between rounds 15 and 20 playing 4 games over 7 weekends.
Of the top 5 from 2009, we play 3 of them three times each - Glenelg, Eagles and Sturt. We play Glenelg away twice, and the Eagles away twice (albeit once each at Thebarton and Woodville). We play Sturt at home twice. The Rd 21 night game goes up against another night game at Richmond.
We dont play Central until Rd 11 at home, and then once more in Rd 17 away.
We only play Port twice.
We play South twice as well, along with North.
Looks a bit different in 2010 to previous years, that's for sure. The draw is going to end up being a night league at the rate all the clubs want to play night games at home these days. With Norwood having only two games vs Port and no season opener, and our first home game a night match against South, home match attendances could be down this year.
