A repeat of my post in another thread ...

I have and always will be proud to support the Glenelg Football Club.

I will always pay the correct dues to the opposition in defeat.

I will always be gracious in victory.

I don't worry about things I can't control.

Nothing anyone says or does will ever change any of those attributes. :-h

How often did the Eagles struggle? 4 GF losses in 6 years not too ,ong ago does not put you in a great possition to criticise. Although I must admit you are the greatest authorities on choking in the SANFL so perhaps you are more qualified than anyone else to say so.

what a dumb post- the Eagles constantly made the GF's, but came up against a superior CD outfit.
If the Eagles had finished Minor Premier & went out in straight sets, your point would be justified.
Glenelg did what Glenelg do best- choke.

Just one question for you Punky

''''''''Glenelg did what Glenelg do best choke.""""""""""

Prelim finals GL played 19
GL won 13
GL lost 6

that one question is
How does a team with that ratio of Prelim finals wins = choke ?

It's a very strange record. How many times have they been runner up now?
It's all the SANFL's fault.

Yes its hard to argue with you but we are only ONE club your 2 clubs are not much better

Oh your so funny - as if I haven't heard that one before. You should take up stand up comedy - you could really make a career out of it.

Outplayed them? Were you at the same game I was? The only way (and very important way!) Sturt outplayed the Bays today is in the ability to kick straight. Glenelg was the better team in terms of most indicators today, but the complete inability to kick straight, not just this week but last week and many others over the year, has cost us a crack at the granny. Damn shame.

Gutted.

I'm sure you are but I can't ever remember an "Indicator" kicking too many goals.

As someone still with a "chip on the shoulder" (though it's getting smaller). To the bays fans that used to taunt "us" with the old standard cliches pre this millenium and KG and especially the arrogant Cornesy - sucked in! I have zilch sympathy for them. Very mature I know, but so be it. I guess footy is an emotional sport.

To many of the football educated, Bays fans on this forum commiserations, I know how devastating it would be, not much worse than losing close games.

To Todd Grima =))
