I'm sure they will. They didn't have one last weekend though.
One of the trainers from Glenelg that I used to work with told me that the trainers themselves make the banners. Any truth in that louts? I thought you guys would make it but I have also heard before that you commision the Crows cheer squad to make your banners. I'm confused

Never heard about the Crows cheersquad making them, but the trainers that make the banner may borrow the poles.

Usually a core group of trainers do the banner with any assistance from anyone who can help. Most of the trainers are regular posters on the Snouts, and when the time is right to make one a post always goes up asking for help....

As Glenelg haven't got a cheersquad, like Sturt, Central, Port, WWT etc, the Banners are usually reserved for a big milestone game....

The Broady had pics of Glenelg's 85 & 86 banners in the front bar for a while. No idea if they're still there.

I reckon in the early days we made the infamous "Go The Growl" Banner, could have been the year when "Go the Growl" would flash up on the new scoreboard after every goal... geez we would nearly pee our pants ... central have had some beauties over the years
