They have been flag favourites all season and nothing has changed now. Anything less than a flag for the dogs will be a total failure.
The pressure is on.
I think anything less than a flag for any of the top three could be viewed as a failure.

I'm hearing Symes needs a very minor knee op, just a little clean up, and will not be giving the all clear to play by the Crows.
Time will tell I guess, but even if Symes does play, despite very poor form over the last 3 months, I don't think Williams will get dropped.

Hazydog wrote:Take your point Dedja - but how long since Sellar played? 10 weeks? And who does he replace?
What impact do you think this has on team harmony?
Anyway, we all may be jumping at shadows! Do we know for sure if the Crows are going to release any of them yet?

Will Slade play next week?
And I noticed that Havelberg was having plenty of treatment on the hammy in the last quarter.
The Bays luckily are injury free (apart from Hinge) and have some potential selection headaches with Douglas, Sellar and Meyer available for selection.
Slade will play i would imagine, he was moving pretty freely running up and down the steps in between quarters yesterday, well better than i was at half time having a kick
Roy Laird said on 5AA last night that if yesterday's game was an elimination final Slade would have played, he was just extra cautious with him from the luxury of having the double chance.
The other 2 boys, not so sure. I am hearing conflicting reports on Hayes. The paper says adductor strain and Roy did say he too will be fine this week for the Glenelg game, but I'm hearing it would not be until the GF weekend Hayes would be available, should the Dogs qualify of course.
Callinan is a hard one to guage only because it is common knowledge that he has had hammy issues all year. Laird said he should be fine as well but it could be possible with the double chance still in favour of the Dogs, Callinan may be given 1 more week.
Too early in the week to say anything is a certainty, except perhaps Slade will play, but I would suggest the usual - will be evaluated at training during the week and then tested later on in the week leading up to the game.
My 'guess' would be the following changes for Central in this game:
INS: M.Slade, I.Callinan, A.Hayes
OUTS: B.Nason, L.Westhoff, K.Jenner
