I think every club has it supporters who are passionate and one-eyed. I was probably like that once. Losing about 16 or 17 finals in a row is a humbling experience.

I prefer not to make predictions but I am confident that our coach and players have the ability to peak at the right end of the season. After that the challenge is for the teams who play us to do better. That has happened twice in the last 9 seasons so its not impossible.
We used to be good :-(

Have a look who started the thread, not a Sturt supporter and none of us are saying we're favourites. Read the thread before making assumptions.

doesnt matter who started the thread its the resounding I agree that comes from most sturt supporters, not all, that I am talking about.as for being able to take a little niggle I noticed a few of the blues fans got their back up straight away about my post

This is something that Centrals do better then any other team and why anyone that writes them off is very silly to do so. I would personally still be worried about them even if they finished fifth, which wont happen of course.
They have the finals know how and it wouldn't be impossible for them to take out three finals in a row if that was the case and take themselves into another  gf. Irrelevant because they will be top 3 and are therefore very, very dangerous.

This thread, for mine, has become pot stirrer and a complete waste of time.
Debating this 6 weeks from finals seems irrelevant.

Last year's finals series should have told us all that.

No 'getting my back up' as you put it. Just calling you out on a crap post. Funny how you say most Sturt supporters agree we're favourites when not one on this thread has said so and none of the 200 to 300 I talk to at every game has said so either. Nice try champ ;)

No point in bitching & arguing about it, $turd are the best team at the moment, the results speak for themselves. Therefore, 2 weeks from tonight, at Elizabeth Oval under lights, C.D. v $turd will be the match of the season!!
