Any chance we could get a copy of the letter sent from the playing group to the board after the club was busted over the salary cap and they were forced to take pay cuts.

Positive for Norwood fans atleast the board members actually informed the players first this time(Joel Coombes).

So who would of been norwoods most succesful coach this decade. Macca ???? Legs finished 3rd in 2002.

Man I wish this forum was around from 1964-1999. :(
This decade sux.
If we wanna talk succesful coaches by decade. Should we talk about the 70's, 80's and 90's?

Why so you could go back and re-read the things you said back then to make yourself feel better.???? How sad.

Should have happened well before then, there have been instances in 2007, 08 and 09 when action was necessary ... I guess we should be thankful they opted for this release, than another contract extension lol

Agreed. Was referring to this year, but yes action was needed years ago.
Whether this action will amount to anything time will tell.

Did you mean 1864-1899?
Reason I ask is it was a widely held thought that Norwood were the biggest underachievers in the league for the quarter of a century after World War 2 but they did have a golden era in the late 1800s.

A bit like the 18 year period North Adelaide 1992-2009? Nah .. Norwood played in 5 grand finals in our 25 years of underachievement :)

Not really, North have achieved about where most have expected to, they did underachieve in 86 and 89 though. Only going on what Norwood supporters told me about that era, 1952 would be a glaring wg

You're a smartarse :P

Read the first post and its about a letter to Norwood members about our performance now, as in right now, not years ago.
Yes I did bring up "1964-1999" which is definately off topic, but you continued the off topic conversation and you are normally the "Keep things on topic" Nazi.

We digress.

Carn the legs this Saturday and beyond.

No need for name calling (smart arse and Nazi) when all I did was respond to a post you made talking about Norwood's performance in a topic entitled Norwood's performance. :?

Please keep this topic in relation to the Norwood Football Club, if you can't work out something then PM me.

Did you just read my post? Or just pick 1 or 2 words? Talking about Norwood pre this current period of mediocrity is off topic, regardless of the topic title.
Nazi a harsh name maybe and I'll take that back but not SmartArse. :)

Mate, if the mods think its off topic we'll let you know, as you actually started the talk of something out of this current period but we deemed it acceptable so any replies relating to that or replying to that is fine so no need to be concerned about your post or any of those replying to it.
Thank you for taking you taking a name back, apology accepted.
Can people please keep posts on topic about the Norwood FC, any others not relating mainly to Norwood will be removed, any concerns or queries then just pm me.
Cheers. :)

PS Just to help things along, it'll be interesting to see how/if the Norwood players react this week. If they don't would it be the end of Hill?

If they're definately getting rid of him at the end of the year why wouldn't they use the rest of the year to trial someone else?
