Hi everyone
firstly, Sheree and I would like to tell you all that we are extremely disappointed that we are no longer involved with the club. We put long hours and commitment at the club and the club was always our number 1 priority.
The GFC has achieved much in the last 12 months. Our future is assured with the SACA commiting to playing 1 Sheffield Shield and 1 Ford Ranger Cup game at Gliderol Stadium in 2011. Last year we turned around a $280k deficit into a $202k profit. We retained our sponsorship budget that in a financial crisis was a fantastic effort..............$350,000. In 2010 we will exceed $350K. Membership was at an all time high at 2,512 in 2009 and this year we are already set to break 3,000.
Whilst we are under budget in the Footballers Club YTD our end of financial year forecast still had us on budget to make a profit of $33,690.
please do not be mislead.....the separation was not amicable as you will read in the media.
Sheree and I will be in the outer on saturday supporting the boys, happy to share a beer with you all.
Please respect our family during this difficult period.

Don't flatter yourself. It's just your club is the only one who sacked their CEO 2 days before the start of the season.
Non-issue from my perspective - anyone get the results from the game yesterday? Maybe it's a non-issue as far as the footy department is concerned also.
Maybe North and Norwood should sack their CEO's - might help them.

...and if you really want to read it, nothing is stopping you from registering on SL.org.
Barro posted only on SL.org - not here - and I think this should be respected, as per his wishes.
Wedgie it would be appreciated if you would replace your quote of Barro's post with a link to the actual post on SL.org. Cheers.
