I understand what you are saying SP, yet how do you propose the current issues with Unley Oval be solved then?

The problem is complex.

The Administration at Unley will do everything possible to liaise appropriately with Unley Council to ensure the SFC remains at Oxford Terrace for many years to come.

When do you think they will be looking at the required upgrades to the ground and the training facilities? Despite Sturt using Unley as a home ground, the lack of investment is hampering the clubs ability to compete with the other SANFL clubs like Central who are upgrading to include Swimming Recovery Pools and things of that nature. Tradition is a good thing, yet not when it becomes a noose around the neck of the club and it would appear that without action being taken immediantly this is looming as the case at the Sturt FC.

As with everything in life finances are a huge problem.

We can expect improved facilities at Unley over the next eighteen or so months.

Great news, my kids will look forward to the new play equipment. They're bored with the current lot.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Wider parking spaces for the 4WDs.
It's all the SANFL's fault.

Part of the problem is the exhorbitant rent paid for the unley ground each match.

Is it a possibility to leave the number of games at unley to an abslute minimum, to give the unley council a message.

Sturt has had financial woes in the past.

Talk is easy

but work is hard

maybe some membership leaflet drops

a lottery the 2008 lottery was a joke.
