Agree with Micky - the lads coming through look to be a very exciting group but will we keep them??

Re the advantage rule i think the ump had called time off in our case and thus the game had stopped and couldnt call advatage whereas time wasnt called in the Sturt case - if wrong happy to be corrected.

Correct on the advantage rule, it all depends on weather the umpire has called time off or if it's a mark.

Why do SANFL Umpires give Sturt such a tough go at House Brothers' Oval?

Against Norwood it was 27-12??

NA scored 7 of their goals there with free kicks!!

None of them will be drafted if they are the draft is full of crap

Or will they be drafted and show that Ron and his colleagues have once again uncovered some quality youngsters, depends if you see the glass half empty or half full i guess.
Trust the process.

I am more than happy with the juniors .We as a "Club" seem to unearth some very good young talent.Where we as a "club" fall in a hole with the juniors is that at State time we lose a chunk of good talent.Or when they are playing School footy we lose them for a chunk of time .
And the same applies at Junior footy finals the seconds team all go off and play under 17/19 finals.
To me we lack players that are over age but second tier .By that I mean guys that play seconds but can step up for the league side when needed .

Exactly. And all those guys left (for better or worse) after 2006 and that is still hurting us now. It might not be so much a club thing, as a general SANFL thing, that players can get more money and more glory for less effort by playing in the Amateurs or Country. But, the club that can somehow make these players stay involved will be better off in the long run.

Im sure Port and Freo and all the other clubs for that matter didnt consider the draft to be full of crap.
Trust the process.
