Great news for North. I'm glad he's staying there.

Hmm just what North needs - another "outside" receiver! ?

Well you havent really seen much of Brett play then have you.
He is is a tough little nut and a hard worker. Considering he is one the smallest blokes out there, he throws himself into the fray as well as providing plenty of run. Whoever gets him will get a great little player.

He's not on your team any more, so you don't need to feel defensive....

I don't doubt his courage or whatever, but he was much better at the outside game than the inside game. His strong suit was his run and great disposal.

Not defending him because who he plays (or does'nt play) for. i just reckon he is a quality player, often unfairly judged.
There is alot more to his game than being an outside receiver.
It will be interesting to see how he goes after a year on the sidelines though.

Well leftlegger - have seen enough of him to form an opinion but thanks for concern!

Never questioned his toughness but there will be plenty on here who think he is a seagull and he should fit in well with a fair few at North who are similar should he choose to pick North.

However I don't think he is exactly the type of player we currently need despite the fact he is at his best a very very good SANFL player.
Piss weak SANFL and the CLOWNS who run it.

From someone who watched the majority of Brett's footy.... he aint no seagull. Thats a very uneducated (on this issue) assessment of the player. His in and under work was fantastic as was his second efforts and ability to dive headlong into a pack.

Definitely not defending Bretts ability to "create" a free kick or play for one. But his courage cant be questioned. Well it isnt by those those that regularly watched his footy.

Note zip zap that in your little video clip that Backwell at least has the footy and is taking on the would be tackler - North didnt have many who were getting the ball ;) ;)

I would welcome him if he does in fact move.

Would it be good for North for the long term, at absolute most i think you would only get 2 years out of him,

is he anything North dont have, with Allan, Wright, Thring, Ryswyk winning the ball isnt the big issue,

obviously i dont see North as much as yourself but just throwing that out there.

LOL pretty sure he went for holding the ball, but one thing I'm definitely sure of is that Old Man Nelson turned Mouse inside out in his last game of SANFL footy

I'd think West wouldn't be offering him anything.
