Is the club looking at any more players to join the roster? Any ex-AFL players? Will Kent Kingsley come home? And what about Fergus Watts?

It was reported in the Advertiser last week by John K that the club would be looking at recruiting a high profile VFL player to replace Coops. Things are on hold at the moment until drafts have been finalised.

Fergus Watts,what a joke!
So over-rated,thought so much of himself, yet can't play.Proved it going interstate & doing nothing.
His biggest problem was his final for the Eagles he kicked 11 goals, his head got so big,he thought he was a super star & thought he should of been in the starting 18 for the crows.Well if he couldn't get a game at St Kilda,it proves the Crows got that decision right!

he kicked ten goals (on the same player who plays for Hawthorn now too)
went back to mummy and daddy and broke his ankle/leg badly
put a few kilos on
couldn't turn in bed yet alone on the footy field
thats the footy gods for ya!

Well other than his 10 goal haul he caused the magpies a few problems playing at cHF at alberton. In at least two games so that would be 3 games

Ferret - will try to get details for you re Joel.

Also welcomed to the club last night was young Tom Couch from Victoria - son of Paul Couch.

Jared Petrenko has had his shoulder operation and Jared reports all went very well.

Just waiting now to see what happens with the draft on Saturday.

What the story behind the signing of Craig Gogoll?
Was he let go by the Dogs? or is he looking for better league oportunities?
I would have thought he was a required player by Centrals.
Must have played close to 100 reserves game for the Dogs.

Is a good lad, I hope he does well with his new club.

Surely if you've played nearly 100 reserve games and havent cracked it for a league game, you dont have to be a Rhodes Scholar to work out why hes moved on.

Craig at just 23 has much good footy in him - Centrals being so strong means to get any league games at Elizabeth you need to be good - Craig has proven he can play - with his height and strength we believe Craig will be very successful with the Eagles.
