As if the comp wasn't compromised enough, we now have players playing for different clubs in the same comp from week to week! FFS

Which now makes him unavailable for Adelaide for the remainder of the year, I believe.

Port v Adelaide this week.. how many people are going to turn up?! Guess this will give us a true indication of how people perceive them in this comp and the statue they have.

What are the chances the media tries to hype it up and sell it off as a show down?

It's in Clare and yes they already have the adverts promoting it as the first showdown in the SANFL.

Damn it! I want the SANFL to be like it was in the good 'ol days. Now we've got "Showdowns" in Clare and a commercial network broadcasting games to a wider TV audience all the while 10,000 are going to Glenelg on a Friday night.

I liked it better when the Bays lost in front of 2800 people.

Smart move by the SANFL guarentees a crowd, they would have got 2.5-3k no matter what two SANFL sides play rather than the embarrassment of 1.5k at Alberton

It's Adelaide Reserves and Glenelg you're talking about.
Finals won't be an issue ;)

If the Crows miss the AFL finals, but make the SANFL finals, will we suddenly see 50k new Crows SANFL supporters cheering on their side?

We'll make finals and could well play North in the GF (no other team has made the GF from the EF as often as us), and you know how that ends up 75% of the time.... ;)
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

I'm suprised by those odds. I'd have thought you lost more than 75% of the finals you've played in ;)

One question that hasn't been answered, Crows have 45 on their list, say they are all available to play on the weekend (not probable but possible) 22 play AFL 21 play SANFL, where do the other 2 play???? Have they thought this through?

yeah, they do the Jarrod Lyons and put them on the emergency list and they don't play

Possible but not probable? Not really, basically impossible and not something that any AFL club would have to worry about.

Scraping the bottom of the barrel for "Cons" now.

Either playing in Adelaide or away at least one emergency would be at the ground.

I might start a thread on what they'll do with that one player when they have all of their list fit and on the park.

I suggest the top placed SANFL team host them in their side for the week or however long this miraculous event goes on for.
