Hats off to the kid concidering he has had no real ties with the club. Come from Calder, plays for the Crows but yet can part way with some coin for the Maggies, well done mate, wake up Tredders etc......

Ivan played a Reserves game for West Adelaide when Port had a bye.

I was impressed with his attitude and demeanor.

Maybe described as a club man, hard to find at the moment, especially down the port way?

You'd think blokes who came through the juniors and ended up with an AFL career would care about where they came from
It's all the SANFL's fault.

what a difference 12 months or so makes, this time last year port had just finished playing finals & was looking forward to going higher on the ladder this year (2009), however after a disaterous season they are on 'life support' & nobody seems to want them, not even some of their own.......only a few short years ago the bays were a rabble & we got stability & moved up the ladder & have been competitive so why can't port do the same thing over the next 2 or 3 years ? the only club that never ever recovers bar for the odd hiccup is south

And Port Adelaide couldn't wait to move to Ethelton where they could just sit pretty on that $1M "handout".

Or you could just complete waste the money and try and blame the SANFL for your incompetence. Doubt anyone with half a brain will believe you and or care.

I just looked up the definition of "sell out" on google and it said Former Port Adelaide CEO Matthew Richardson.

Didnt you defend him Been Real ????

Im sure the Port fans will work out a way to blame the SANFL for that stupid decision.

Matthew Lokan has more chance of playing in another AFL grand Final than Port do surviving to 2011.

They had club rooms and social facilities, it's called Alberton. What they had to spend a large chunk of that so called handout was building new training facilities at Ethelton, setting up new admin and chasing new sponsors.

Must be nice living the high life out at Pokie Districts.

nah I reckon it would be alot better if we leased the pokies out.

I have heard some pathetic excuses in my time beenReal. That one of yours is certainly up there.

You Port fans do realise how PATHETIC you have become dont you ????.

And your opinion means what to me?
I must get down to that crummy shoe box of a shop Toss of a Coin and find out what Centrals were like pre pokies income.
Hint for when you go to the toss of the coin. Dont buy any Port Magpie gear. I have it on good authority youll get a discounted price on all their merchandise in 12 months.

If Centrals used Port Magpies as its blue print for success in the SANFL. Guess which club Port Magpies might have to model themselves on to survive in this comp ??

Geesh your quick on the up take Voice ever heard of the word "sarcasm". You can take the boy out of Elizabeth but you can never take Elizabeth out of the boy.

It is starting to make sense to me now why the sturt cheer squad cant make a banner bigger than a table cloth.

Sweet Ill keep the banner gags going then for you Elizabeth boy.

I had a feeling you'd want to change the topic Voice. Alot of ducking and weaving going on with you Sturt fans of late. Although In your defence Voice atleast you havent gone missing unlike most of your other so called diehard Sturt fans.

Is it actually a debt reduction strategy to let most of their senior players sign eslewhere and pick up the clearance fee?

I wonder if the magpies will chase Giles as they need a ruckman.

Micklejohn will not be playing in SA next year if my mail is correct.

Correct.

He had reached agreement with another SANFL club but Port would not come to the party no matter what the transfer fee being offered, they'd rather crush him into a cube than trade him in.

Has agreed to play for a WAFL club if not redrafted.
It's all the SANFL's fault.
